The anti-aircraft battery on Turó de la Rovira reopens this week after nine months of renovations. This formerly forgotten site was first opened to visitors in 2011 and has since become an increasingly popular attraction for tourists. Built during the Civil War to help defend Barcelona from air attacks, the bunkers are located on the top of the Turó de la Rovira hill in the Carmel area and offer spectacular 360º views over the city.
